the story

In 2014, Move Forward worked with a local team in Kenscoff, Haiti, to bring dance and basketball to 83 young people. The project took place after a period marked by natural disasters and a cholera outbreak, when opportunities for young people to move, connect and enjoy time together were limited.

This first international community project helped shape the belief behind Move Forward: movement can offer moments of strength, joy and connection during difficult times.
